雅思阅读否定词考点

雅思阅读中常会出现以否定词为特征的考点，通常我们在阅读题目题干中多会关注于特殊词汇作为我们的定位词（或关键词），比如时间，地点，人名等，而忽视了题目中出现的否定词形式。如果在做题时，题目中出现了否定词，大家也一定需要特别关注。

常见的否定词例如有no, without, little, few, hardly ,never等。我们把这些否定词称为“显性”否定词，因为这些词便于辨识。除了这些“显性”否定词，还有部分“隐性”否定词，烤鸭们也应多多关注和积累。“隐性”否定词例如有：far from, lack of , fail to, be short of，out of the question等等。现在我们来关注雅思阅读的几道题，具体来看看否定词考点：

1. 题目：The writer thinks that the declaration ‘There is no bullying at this school’ reflected a lack of knowledge and resources (剑桥雅思C6T4P3 选择题)

原文：Until recently, not much was known about the topic, and little help was available to teachers to deal with bullying.

考点： not much … and little help… 和 … a lack of …

2. 题目: Marie stopped doing research for years when her children were born（剑桥雅思C9T4P1 判断题)

原文: The births of Marie’s two daughters , Irene and Eve, failed to interrupt her scientific work.

考点： stopped doing --- 和 failed to interrupt ---

3. 题目：Johnson did not have a ____ available to him, but eventually produced definitions of in excess of 40,000 words written down in 80 large notebooks （剑桥雅思C5T1 摘要题）

原文：The work was immense; filling about eighty large notebooks ( and without a library to hand), Johnson wrote the definitions of over 40,000 words, and illustrated their many meanings with some 114000 quotations drawn from English writing on every subject

考点： … not have a … 和 … without a …  

不难发现以上题目都是通过否定词（比如: little , not, without, fail to 等）为特征的考点 以后烤鸭们对题目中出现的否定词要敏感，可以多多积累这方面的表达和细节，从而搞定这类题目。
