看《人民的名义》积累雅思口语素材

你信不信《人民的名义》是一部很好的雅思口语教材！

Nick从大学时期就一直很骄傲自己看了不少美剧英剧，但现在看英文电视电影的人已经不再新鲜的时候，我又开始复古的看国内的电视剧了。最近大火的一部反腐神剧《人民的名义》可以说是所有人的谈资，既然是所有人，那就包括我们雅思培训。而且，里面的素材和故事有不少可以用在雅思考试上。声明一下，咱们中国的政治体制与很多西方国家不同，所以里面很多专有名词不在今天的讲解范围内。

运用前，咱们先说说看这个电视局给大家带来的一些高分词汇吧：

贪污embezzle(多指挪用公款)

贿赂bribe

反腐败anti-corruption

经济收益financial income

人民的利益public profit

工人阶级working class

大亨tycoon

情人mistress

公安局Public Security Bureau  

监督 supervise

上访 petition (既是名词也是动词)

运用1: 口语题目Describe an educational television show

剧中人物关系复杂，我们避而不谈，但故事的结构思路清晰，总结下来我们可以简单说明为：

1, This drama is called “ In the name of people” and broadcasted in China mainland. 这部叫做“人民的名义”的戏剧在中国大陆热播。

2, The theme of the show is mainly about describing how the central authority fights against the corruption in regional government teams.故事的主题主要在于中央政府如何打击地方腐败。

3, After watching the show, most of viewers could realize two pieces of educational information: the first is that having a unselfish and generous personality is the corner stone of being a government officer; the second is that supervision is extremely necessary for those who have great powers. 看完片子以后，大部分观众都会得到亮点非常有教育意义的信息：第一就是当政府公职人员需要以无私和慷慨的性格为基础；其次就是对于那些位高权重的人来说，监督是非常必要的。

运用2: 口语话题－法律

question 1: Are there any laws do you think it is very important to people?

Answer: Citizens are entitled to petition to the higher authority is the greatest law. We all know that government’s members have certain level of power to use social resource. If they are not being supervised, the power will highly be abused.

市民有权去向更高级别的政府来上访，这是最好的一条法律。我们都知道政府职员都有权利去使用社会资源，如果她们不被监督或，权利就很有可能会被滥用。
