真题解析 -- 大学教育好在哪儿？

最近A类和G类的大作文很多都是关于教育类的话题。今天Luyi老师想和大家分享几篇真题并与大家分享几个“大学教育”优点的辩论范句。

真题topic:

1. It isbetter for country to spend more on skill training than university education.To what extent do you agree or disagree?

2. Manypeople think that higher education is not as necessary as it was years ago. Doyou agree or disagree?

我们先来看看关键词 -- 话题1当中的”university education” 和 话题2当中的 “further education” 讲的是一件事情：大学教育。在北美大家还习惯称大学教育为：”higher education” or “post-secondary education”.  

我们雅思写作话题中只要一提到有关教育的问题，很多都会涉及到高等教育 (higher education)。 比如，以上举得两个例子。那我们今天来看看高等教育的好处到底有哪些？

高等教育的优点：

首先很多童鞋能想到的一点读大学的好处就是提高就业率了：

-         careerprospect : 职业前景 (比如工资高低的差距)

主体段可以用数据来support 此论点, 比如：Research has shown that college graduates are making on average almostdouble the annual earnings of those with only a high school diploma； and this advantageis likely to stick with them over a lifetime of work.

-         broadensocial network : 拓宽人脉

主体段可以用Luyi老师经常讲的”common sense”描述法来support 此观点

比如： University is usually where students build their first adult networksby making friends and meeting their mentors and inspiring academic staff whoare leading professionals in their field.

-         各种综合能力的培养（学习能力，创新能力， 独立思考能力等）

主体段例句也同样可以用”common sense”法切入

比如： Higher education not only exposes students to new research andtechnology, but encourages them to have creative and independent thought. It isalso an access for the younger generation to build initiative and leadershipskills that would be widely applicable throughout their life.

当然，现在的大学教育是一个非常debatable的话题。就如我们上面两个真题所言，有些人认为现在的大学教育也许并非如此重要。 我们的小烤鸭们可以试着自己来写几个相反观点，描述成句发到我们邮箱与我们分享和交流。
