口语Part1真题解析- Flowers

向来什么都考的雅思口语Part1最近在考的就是：花！不过flowers也不是一个很稀奇的话题，之前也考过tree，birds等等，说明考官还是对大自然非常热爱的。但是通常大家对于flowers这个话题的单词储备较少，所以我们一起来看下需要掌握的表达和答题思路吧！

Q1: Do you love flowers?

petal 花瓣 n.

a bunch of …  一捆，一束

florist 花店，种花人 n.

a bouquet of flowers 花束 n.

fragrance 香气 n.

sweet-scented 有香气的 adj.

be allergic to… 对…过敏

sneeze 打喷嚏 n.&v.

回答这一题的时候，可以说说花的香味或者颜色带给你的美好的感觉，或者可以说自己对花朵有轻微的过敏，但是仍然非常喜欢花。这样的答案才算比较充实（a developed answer）。比如:

A: I’m really a big fan of flowers, especially those colorful and pleasant smelling ones. I always decorate my rooms with flowers since they can cheer me up and make my house look elegant.

Q2: What flowers do you like?

常见的花朵种类:

lotus 莲花

tulip 郁金香

sunflower 向日葵

daffodil水仙花

daisy 雏菊

carnation 康乃馨

orchid 兰花

回答本题时，除了要讲出花的种类，最好能解释一下喜欢的原因，可以从花的形态和气味来说，也可以从花所代表的意义来讲。比如:

Well I got to say I’m in love with cherry blossom, which is often called sakura. Especially if you consider the fact that we live in Vancouver, there are many parks and gardens that are ideal to view the flowers. Actually seeing the cherry trees burst into vivid colours is something I really enjoy during springtime.

Q3: In your country, do people give flowers as a gift?

这道题是相对简单的一个问题，因为大家都会想到Valentine’s Day送的玫瑰花。但是别忘了大家也经常在母亲节送康乃馨给妈妈，代表对她的感谢之情。比如:

Definitely, but we send flowers depending on occasions. For instance, roses are typical flowers for lovers; and carnation, in our culture, is usually given to mothers for showing appreciation and love. But white flowers are usually used at funerals, so it’s kind of a taboo to send white flowers since it is synonymous with death.

这个范文按照不同的场合进行分类讨论，显得思路清晰，在Fluency方面能够得到不错的分数。而且最后主动谈到了白色的花在中国文化中代表的特殊意义，整个答案是非常完整的。
