11.5 雅思口语真题高分解析

大家好，欢迎来到本周的环雅好声音时间，这一次Cici要为大家带来口语Part2的真题解析，我们一起来看下题目吧：

Describe a creative inventor or musician

You should say:

1)Who this person is

2)What this person does

3)How you knew this person

And explain why you think this person is creative

这道题可以算得上是人物类考题里的变态级了，大家拿到题目，往往会被这个“inventor”震慑住，开始brainstorm历史上那些出名的发明家，比如发明电灯的爱迪生。如果这时候你开始构思答案，很有可能就给自己挖了一个不小的坑，因为想要说道2分钟的话，你需要对爱迪生的生平故事有所了解，在临场没有准备的前提下，想发挥地好这是相当有难度的。那有什么好方法呢？别急，我们题还没看完呢! 你除了描述一个inventor,也可以说musician. 什么是musician呢？根据韦氏大辞典的解释，musician is a person who writes, sings or plays music. 所以大家要明确，音乐人和歌手还是有差别的。

审题到这里，我们的思路瞬间开拓很多。因为在华语乐坛有非常多具有创造性的音乐人，比如Jay Chou, David Tao, JJ Lin。而且这些人都是大家洗手拈来的人物，所以如果选择对这些人进行描述，题目难度会降低很多。如果我们脑洞再大一点，想到日韩或者欧美的音乐人，同样可以进行描述。所以这道题告诉我们一个道理，雅思口语，选材很重要。

The musician I’d like to talk about is Leehom Wang, who is one of Asia’s hottest and most influential musical talents.

答案首句，简单明了，告诉考官你要说的人是谁。其中，influential这个词表示“有影响力的“，是准备人物类话题一定要掌握的词哦。

Born in New York, Leehom developed an early interest in music. He was also very academic and did a great job in the SAT. It’s interesting that while his family is medically-minded -- his father and two brothers are all doctors – Leehom’s passion has always been in music.  

人物类的问题，如果大家对你所说的对象有所了解，不妨从介绍他的生活经历、外貌或者性格方面开始，再逐渐深入开始讲述你与ta的故事。结构自然，而且内容比较充实。

Most youngsters admire him a lot not only because he is a talented musician, but because he is also very creative. His first album came out in 1995, and not long after that, he rose to fame overnight because he became the youngest person who ever received a Golden Melody Award for “Best Male Artist of the Year.”

这段表达当中，大家可以学习rise to fame overnight这个短语，表示“一夜成名“，是形容celebrity话题很好的词汇。

He was given such recognition mainly because he showed amazing creativity in composing. Particularly, he combined some elements of traditional Chinese music, such as string instruments, with modern pop music. The mixture of these two kinds of music was so perfect that even the pickiest critics say that they would recommend his albums to the world!

这个部分的首句和上一段内容有一个自然的过度衔接，在fluency这个评分标准上能够得分。之后，答案里讲了王力宏把中国传统音乐中的元素，比如String instrument弦乐器和现代流行音乐结合起来，是非常有创造性的。这两种音乐种类的融合非常完美以至于最挑剔的评论家都表示会把这张专辑推荐给全世界。这里我们从侧面说明了王力宏在音乐方面的能力，是一个非常生动的表达，希望大家可以多多学习。
