开放式题目写作步骤

今天我们来关注下open-ended question的写作步骤。

题目Open-ended question:   In many countries, the amount of crime is increasing. What do you think are the main causes of the crime? How can these crimes be dealt with?

第一段话我们需要写两句话，交代题目背景情况，以及交代题目所要进行的写作目的。

The intensification of social mobility has resulted in growing public concerns that social security has become a major concern for a good number of cities. To combat the mounting crime rate, we have to understand reasons behind this social phenomenon and propose some relevant measures to improve the status quo.  

第二段话我们开始分析产生题目中社会问题的原因。一般我们提出两到三个解释原因，每一个解释原因我们一般要有两句话进行解释。注意句型结构的多样化和复杂性。

First, it is obvious that the pressure on working people is ever increasing, resulting in a series of mental problems. Workaholics spare little time for leisure activities or sports, ending up with exhausted mind, and in some cases going insane/losing their reasons to act appropriately. The subsequent factor is the lack of psychological counselling guidance; as a matter of fact, it can be made more accessible to a wider public to prevent potential offenders from committing crimes. The third reason is due to household/family effect. If children are born into families where violence and drug abuse are common, they will be more likely to behave in an illegal or antisocial way.

针对我们上边提出的解释原因，我们需要提出相应的问题解决方法。同样注意句型的多样性。

Corresponding measures can be taken to restrain these negatives. Primarily, corporations should collaborate with clinics to offer complimentary counselling services to at-risk employees. Preferably, these counselling sessions are conducted on a regular basis to ensure sustained positive effects. Secondly, it is important to raise parents’ awareness of the importance of family education on their children’s mental growth. Indeed, quality family upbringing is the fundamental antidote to adolescent delinquency.

结尾的时候可以把综合下解决办法，简言之即可。

To sum, corporations, professional clinics as well as emerging parents should work/cooperate in tandem to enhance social stability and endurance.
