一招搞定雅思听力填空题

在雅思听力里，填空题是挺让小烤鸭头疼的。

常见的题型有：

Table Completion, Sentence Completion, Passage Completion，Summary Completion，和Notes Completion。

其中Notes Completion和Summary Completion经常出现在Section 4并且较长容易失分。今天我们一起梳理一下 Notes Completion的答题重点和策略。

A 预测阶段：

·看题目 – 快速回忆相关topic vocabulary

·关键词 – 名词变数小，特别是一些专有名词比如ocean floor, deforestation, carbon dioxide等等

·同义替换– 空前后的词，尤其动词，形容词和副词

·答案–

·答案前置：因果／目的句，主被动，时间／地点状语，否定句

·填空位置– 紧挨着的空答案也很近，要速记

B答题阶段：

·注意听路标信号词句 – 顺序词，转折词，疑问句／自问自答句以及强调词／          强调句（e.g. in particular, actually, in fact，What someone + verb is ...)

·紧跟headings和sub-headings以防掉队

·预测时都可能是复数名词一定要注意听尾音

C誊抄答案／检查阶段：

·通读句子，保证语法无误

·检查大小写，单复数，连字符

·答案字数限制

真题演练

现在我们以剑桥11 Test 1 Section 4几道题为例，分析如何解题。

1.【题目】

…found that ocean hotspots：

·were notalways rich in (32)_____________

·had highertemperatures at the (33) _____________

·had sufficient(34)_____________in the water

【录音】

… worm located five hotspots for largeocean predators like sharks, and looked at what they had in common. Themain thing he’d expected to find was that they had very highconcentrations of food, but to his surprise that wasonly true for four of the hotspots - the remaining hotspot was quite badlyoff in that regard. But what he did find was that in all cases, thewater at the surface of the ocean had relatively hightemperatures, even when it was cool at greater depths, so this seemed to bea factor in supporting a diverse range of theselarge predators. However, this wasn’t enough on its own, because healso found that the water needed to have enough oxygen in it - sothese two factors seemed necessary to support the high metabolic rateof these large fish.

【解析】

首先审题时就应做好准备答案会距离很近。

31）信号词the main thing出现就要注意听答案，rich对应high concentrations所以后面的food就是答案。not否定成分后置-only true for four of the hotspots/ remaining hotspotwas quite badly off.  

32) But转折再加一个强调句就是信号，题目里答案是地点，做预测时就应想到有可能前置。录音说到the water atthe surface of the ocean had relatively high temperatures时，surface即答案。

33）审题时，看到sufficient时马上脑海里替换enough, adequate, ample,plenty of之类的同义词，in thewater有可能前置。录音一出信号词however就竖起耳朵，听到the water needed to have enough oxygen in it时，写下oxygen就对啦。
